JEERK would like to introduce you all to George, our pet walking stick. George likes long walks on Moonshine beach while conversating about everything walking sticks talk about normally. So, if you like to meet George, he usually hangs out at Turtle Creek. Yes.

JEERK back in Branson!

So we're back after two weeks in Sweden. To celebrate, Saturday night, we went down to the intersection of James F. Epps and the blue route to hunt some racoons. If you watch the picture quite closely you can spot a terrified racoon in flight heading for the woods. The message is loud and clear; JEERK is back in Branson!

Reggie the renegade tried to sneak away and join the other new group in town, The Cats Pajamas. They seemed confused with his presence. We caught him, though, and brought him back to camp.

Looking for a new JEERKomobile

Tymac went down to Jasper, AR in search of a new vehicle for the group.

David Deere, formerly known as The Irish Rover, have now joined the JEERK crew! We're happy to introduce this highly competent man as our PR agent.

Vintage Paris in Hollister

So we found this perfectly wonderful place to relax and to have the best coffee in town by far. Vintage Paris down in Hollister. Come hang out with us there. Anytime you feel like it. Thomas just spilled some icy macchiato if you wonder about his weird stare.

So this is what The Red Gold Heritage Hall looked like last year. The year JEERK took their first tapping steps on american soil... The Dancing Dudes From Sweden... ? Seriously. That's actually what we call our american corporation now. DDFS Entertainment, Inc. Coined by Rex Burdette - the man, the myth, the producer...

This is what happens when you go to a memorial day sale on guitar center. There´s just no way of leaving empty handed. Atleast it is a beautiful guitar that plays great and maybe it finds it´s way in to the show someday too...

When JEERK is not enough... (!!!????)

Have you ever had the feeling of going through a day and looking for that little extra to spice it up but nothing you do seems to do the trick, not even going to a JEERK-show!!? ( hey, this must be serious). Well here is what you need... the CHOLULA HOT SAUCE. The greatest sauce, works on everything (with a possible exception of gravel)!!!

Yesterday, May 25th, JEERK went to see the Tweeds at The God And Country Theatre. We were all blown away by a thouroughly entertaining and cosy little show. We recommend all our friends, followers and stalkers to pop by to see John and Sarah Tweed when you're in town!

JEERK is missing on the theatre?

Just to let you all know, we are playing at the Hughes Brothers Theatre even though we´re not up on the sign when coming from the IHOP side of the strip (W. Highway 76).
We´re hoping that this issue will be resolved soon.

Parents arriving...

The true creators of JEERK have begun to arrive... First, we're proud to present Tymacs parents. We know there have been speculations about gene modification in this particular case but that's all being denied as of today. :)

BoBo's birthday

Today it was BoBo's birthday. We celebrated with having a BBQ and painting a mustach on BoBo's fingers, niiceee!! Just look how happy he is:)

JEERK at the Project Graduation

This Friday Jeerk did a show at the Hilton convention centre.
They did a 20 minutes show for the kids graduation party and by the sound of them they liked it...
The theme for the night was New York, they had the Yankee Stadium, the Staty of Liberty and so much more...It was really cool.
Jak from the group SIX was there helping out. It was all for the kids...

The Swedish cookies...

The guys went to Branson Tourism Center today do give away some Swedish cookies called Pepparkakor.
As you can see it was a big succes...:-)
The cookies is almost like the Ginger snaps you have here in America.
A good tip is to put some Blue chees on top or have a cold glass of milk to the cookies...They say that the cookies will make you kind...

Jack - The Shoe Repair Man

Here we are - at Jack´s place. The mythical man who keeps our shoes trimmed to the brim of excellence. Yup, we are really glad we found this guy here. Oldschool shoemaking is soon an extinct art. You too should visit a real shoemaker once in awhile. Make your shoes happy!

Ok what is JEERK up to?
We´re driving around, handing out swedish pepparkakor cookies. In sweden we eat pepparkakor to get nice and friendly, not that the Branson people need it...

The shows goes on and we´re starting to used to this life with alot of work and so on.
Please come and visit us if you haven´t, and if you have -come again!

Saturday

Saturday night was our first 8pm show here at the theater.
There was a really good crowd and the energy was really on the top, but as the show goes on something is wrong with the lights... hm.
Someone has pulled a switch so the lights aren´t working as they should and in the last number we really wondered what happened when the lights went down and up again before the number is done!?!
So we need a detective to find out WHO it was that turned the switch off.

After the show some of us went to see "the Gimps" at club 57.
Dean from "The Legends" is really in his pride when he plays with the rockabilly band.
Thomas is playing the piano with them and he ROCKED! He went wild and most of the time his feets where playing more piano then his fingers!!

Yesterday meeting

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day.
We decided to have our meeting outside.
The topic was the show. We really think it is a good show but there is always something you can improve. You can never stop working. You can never relax. Sounds really fun....right?
Well, we can´t complain when the weather is with us and the pool at our house is opening tomorrow. YEYYYYY!

The JEERK cars

-No...it isn´t.

-But why did you buy it then?

-Because my mom is visiting from Sweden and I thought this car would be convenient for her aswell... but I like the car too.

-Perhaps you are a bit jealous at SiX´s cool cars?

-Yes...I am.

-Do your car has any special things in or/on it?

-A chick in the front seat.

Saturday we had a great audience with girlscouts from Kansas city.

Bobo, though, forgot to send a barrel in the "barrel" number and then Bobo had two barrels and Joey had none! ops!
Later that day we did a radio interview and parts of the show on a charity for orphans.
A day with alot of work and that is basicly what we do these days -WORK!

The Rankin Brothers

Yesterday we were at the "Caravelle theater" to see The Rankin Brothers.
A great tribute to the 50´s, 60´s and 70´s.
The three ladies in "The Rankinettes" really brought an extra flavour to the show.

The Legends!

Yesterday we were at the "Dick Clark´s all american band stand theater".
We were there to see "The Legends".
Buddy Holly, Whitney Houston, Elvis, Blues Brothers and Tim McGraw.
They both looked and sounded like their "legend". Cool!

It´s great to have the opportunity to see so many great shows all in one place -BRANSON!

Hilton

We spent an afternoon at the Hilton Hotel, Branson Landing.
It was the grand opening for their new bar and steakhouse.
Lucky as we were we could try out the food that they were serving. AWESOME!! Lobster, Crabs, Oysters and lots of more great stuff.
JEERK did a performance later that night which went very well! We are lucky to have our great soundengineer Anders!

Since JEERK is very
concerned about the
environmental health they drive
the same car to the theater.

Last year JEERK were playing at Silver Dollar City so we had to go and say Hi to our friends there, and ofcourse try the new rides!

Cat´s pajamas

Last week we were at "The Dutton family theater" to see our friends in Cat´s pajamas.
They were totally awesome! A mix of new and old style and their great personalities really reached us all.

Shoemaker Jack

The shoes are a work of art.

They´ve had the same shoemaker in sweden since they started, and he is probably one of few who knows the trade so well that he can rebuilt sneakers into tap shoes.

As you all understand they do ALOT of tapping and the shoes get worned out and needs reparing during their stay in Branson.

We are very lucky that we´ve found Jack!

The boots and moccasins he made were really a work of art.
